Home Sweet Home

We're HOME!... and Carlsbad has never looked better. We arrived Friday night with my Grandparents and our week has only begun. Sunday we went for a walk on the beach while it was sunny.

It was like being reunited with a long lost friend. We also went to 2 sacrament meetings with the Tuckers and Perdues. And thanks to my Uncle Mike we have been crusin' around in his extra whip...
...at least it gets us from point A to point B. We fight over who gets to drive :)
Well, we're off to In-N-Out...a lot more fun and pictures to come.

TWILIGHT

Last night my family (Tristan refused) went to see the new movie Twilight. I haven't read the book so i wasn't sure what to expect but can i just say...I have fallen hard. I am in LOVE with EDWARD! I didn't understand all the hype about this so called "amazing vampire", but now my eyes have been opened and i am a changed woman. I have joined the herds of women who wish Edward was watching ME sleep. Oh what it would be like to be married to a vampire? I'll never know, but i decided to start reading the book TODAY and im going to see the movie AGAIN asap. I could keep ranting and raving but ill stop while I'm ahead.

THIS IS BYU FOOTBALL

What comes to mind when i say 64,000, blue, Cosmo, tradition, spirit, honor, Fui, Unga, Collie, and Bronco? How about COUGAR FOOTBALL!!??

Yesterday was the last home game of the 2008 Football season here in Provo. It was a beautiful November afternoon where we took on the SDSU Aztecs and sent them home as losers. I got a little sad knowing that it would be my last home football game as a die-hard BYU student.

I'll miss the haka, the awesome marching band playing popcorn popping in the 4 quarter, the Cosmo movie after the 3rd quarter and then Cosmo running out onto the field, the announcer saying "its another Cougar first down", doing the Star Wars march, sitting with the entire Packard clan and most importantly going out to dinner with my Grandma and Grandpa Jensen after EVERY home game. My grandparents get season tickets to the games (thats going to be me when im old) and yesterday while at dinner we couldn't believe we have been meeting up after the games for FOUR years. Time flies!
GO COUGS!!

Jeremy and Laura at the game.

Halloween Ninja Madness

Halloween was AWESOME! Tristan and I dressed up as NINJA TURTLES with our friends Ryan and Becca Jackson. Becca and i went on a scavenger hunt late Thursday night and came out with these sweet costumes for only $7.50 a piece. BOOYA!

And yes... Tristan sewed on his own turtle shell (he said he mom taught him). I was so excited.

We began our night with some pizza for dinner, because all Ninja Turtles LOVE pizza. We went to the Pizza Factory with the Jackson's and Packard's (yes, in our turtle outfits) and successfully devoured two XL pizzas. Next we hit the town to get our turtle groove on. We pretty much started the party.
