I Heart Softball

...that's the name of the coed intramural softball team I'm on. We had our first game tonight and beat our opponent by 10 points! Go Team! Needless to say i never got on base but its all about supporting the ones who score the points.
This is pretty intimidating:

Little softball family:

In the mean time i'll be working on my hand eye coordination.

Summer Rodeo

Monday, i started work for the BYU summer sports camps as an athletic trainer. I'm working with a couple of my best friends from the program and we goof around all day while still protecting the athletes, of course.
Kat and Brittney making fun of some participants. Happens a lot.

On Wednesday we went to the Strawberry Days rodeo in Pleasant Grove. It was totally sweet.

We saw 2 different styles of horse riding, bull riding, mutton busting, motocross, money cow and all the different ones when they cope the cow. I'm a rodeo lovin' Californian.

Yay for summer camps, rodeos, athletic training jokes that no one else would understand, and girlfriends.

Tristan's Project

Tristan is still in California working in Apple Valley flipping his Dad's clients house. He has been working on this house for the last 3 weeks and has come very far since day 1. They had to do a lot of demolition, remodeling, and now they are putting it all back together.
Back side of the house:

A closet he built in the master bedroom:

Wall made into a doorway:

The ceiling. He put that big beam in because they took out a wall to make 2 bedrooms into 1:

The kitchen that will have a wrap around counter:

Used to be a window, now is a sliding glass door:

Beach Lunch

Our last day in Carlsbad together we took a walk down memory lane back to the first time we ever hung out. June 10, 2006: Tristan called and invited me to a movie, Cars, with some of his friends. I was too scared to go by myself so i brought my sister Kelsey along. We went to the movie, i threw popcorn at Tristan (that's when he said I caught his eye) then we went to Alejandros (our favorite Mexican "restaurant"). We took our food to the beach, sat on the sea wall and talked. Saturday we relived that first hang out. We took Alejandros to the beach and sat on the sea wall. That's why i love Carlsbad, you can go to the beach whenever you want.

Perdue Grads

Last Thursday 2 Perdue girls graduated. Shannon graduated from Valley Jr. High and Chelsea graduated from Carlsbad High School.

Make that 3 Perdue girls if you count me graduating from Brigham Young. BooYA!

Mike and Kelly threw a party for the girls. All the grandparents came and we had yummy food and celebrated all of our accomplishments.

YAY for graduation! Love you girls.

Rockin' Birthday #1

Yesterday was Trey Rondo's 1st birthday party. Yay Trey! Kristi put together the cutest party at Moonlight beach. The weather was awesome, the snacks were delicious and the company was rockin'. I was defiantly taking notes for when i comes my turn. :)

Trey got his own small cake that he had all to himself. Kristi took all his clothes off and let him have at it. It was the cutest idea ever. At first he sat there, not sure what to do but soon he picked up that there a yummy cake sitting in front of him. Delicious!!

Next, he opened presents. He got some pretty cool stuff, including his first life jacket some clothes, toys and some sports balls.

Happy Birthday Trey! Your Auntie Brittany loves you.

Go Padres!

Last night Tristan and I went to a Padres game with my parents. GO San Diego!

My dad rocked the mortgage business last month (i like to think its cause i'm in the office now) and scored sweet Padres tickets from Wells Fargo. Our seats rocked. We were only a few rows up from the field and foul ball landed only a few seats over from us, only if i had my glove. We ate hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn and cracker jacks. I felt like a true American.

Although we lost it was stil fun cheering and singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game".

I love baseball in the summer.

Kelsey's Prom

Last weekend my sister, Kelsey, went to Prom and my mom and I went to take pictures with all the other crazy parents and their kids. Kelsey look so beautiful and i totally loved her hair.

This was her date, BFF Michael Swahn.

While we were taking pictures at Kelsey's friends house i played with their brand new puppy. I want a puppy and always bug Tristan about getting a dog. Adorable!!
