Night Boarding

Friday night, Brady, Tristan and I all went snowboarding... and it was a blast! I have never been night boarding before and it was sweet, and cheaper than going during the day. After a whole year I was really nervous about falling when getting off the lift and forgetting how to snowboard but no worries, we were all carving the mountain in no time, even challenging the black diamond run.
View from the lift, Utah setting sun.

On the lift.

After a night of snowboarding.

Another perk of living in Utah, a ski resort 20 minutes away. Can't wait to go again!

Go USA!

This post is for my mom. Let it be known that this is my 3rd post in a row about food.
Today, i made a "USA" themed pie in honor of the Olympic closing ceremonies. It was delicious! On a lower note, I'm so sad the Olympics are over... only 2 1/2 more years until the summer Olympics, hope I can make it.

Team USA!

Oranges

We love oranges! And its orange season so we've been eating them like crazy cause all the grocery stores have barrels of them for cheap. I bought some at Smiths a week ago for a good deal of 3 pounds for a dollar. Those lasted a week. So today i went to a newer grocery store by the MTC called Buy Low and found the best deal: 5 pounds for a dollar! Soooo i got 10 pounds of oranges and now we have lots.
yes, that is a picture of the oranges in my fridge.

What better use of oranges than to make orange rolls out of them! Healthy and delicious.

We had orange rolls for dessert tonight. yum.

Pizza

Welp... nothing exciting has been happening around here. Work, school, Olympics and food have been the staples in our life thus nothing too exciting to post about. But food it is: we got a bread maker for Christmas and have been putting it to good use. We've made homemade pizza the last two Saturdays in a row, and its delicious...

Final Product: pepperoni and pineapple pizza.

BYU loves Kelsey

Yesterday Kelsey found out she got accepted to BYU!!! Wooo! We are all sooo happy and I'm way excited to add one more family member to the Provo mix. Kelsey was also accepted by Cal Poly and ASU with a scholarship. Buuut...she was born to be a Cougar...

We are ready for the good times to roll.

Congrats Kels, love you.
