Tristan's Birthday

Today is Tristan's birthday!! Waooo! Number twenty six in fact. He reports he had a great day over all even though most of it was spent at school and work.
After school first thing on his birthday agenda was presents:
I got him the newly released Kindle. He's so excited to start reading on it.
Next was dinner at CPK. Yum!
Then, Tristan's favorite, birthday PIE!! I ventured out and made apple this time. They were delish!
Happy Birthday Tristan! I'm so glad we get to be together for eternity and thank you for making me happy every day. Love you tons and tons.

Brady's Birthday

Today is my little brother, Bradys', birthday. This is his first birthday back from his mission so we all wanted to make sure he had a good one. We went to dinner to Mi Ranchito, delicious Mexican food. Our cousins, Jacob, Brittany, and Aaron came to celebrate Brady's day with us so it was a party! After dinner he opened presents. He got a Burton snowboarding jacket and other boy stuff from my parents and BYU work out shorts from Kelsey.
Brady was telling Kelsey and I he didn't want to come to St. George to cheer us on because he didn't want to hear us complain the entire time. And he was joking about wearing a shirt saying that sooo I made him a shirt actually saying that. Front of the shirt says, "Went to the St. G Marathon. Didn't Run." The back says, "Listened to my sisters complain." He absolutely loved the shirt. This was his reaction, laughing, when he opened it.
I also made him a poster to help him cheer Kelsey and I on. Now he'll really have to come to the marathon.
After presents we all had birthday pie, made by yours truly.
Happy Happy Birthday Brady! We love you tons and tons!

Cougar Fans

Fall, and BYU fall sports are here! Friday we cheered on our woman's soccer team who are undefeated.
We had a beautiful view of the mountains from south stadium.
Last Saturday football kicked off the 2010 season with a home game. We went to cousin lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Jensen before the game, as is tradition. Our Cougars won and it was a blast being there with family. Tristan and I have our season tickets with Jeremy, Brady, Kelsey and their roommates. Its a fun group.
Tucker kids at the game together. It was Kelsey's first football game.
Perdue boys.

John Mayer

First things first:
1. I realized that today is September 2nd. This means there are only thirty days until the St. George Marathon. Countdown has begun. I feel prepared and I am getting more are more excited about it.
2. We are very excited about BYU's announcement yesterday. Going independent and joining the WCC: can't wait to see what's in store for our Cougars.
3. Last night I had a dream that my dog, Jake, died and I administered CPR and brought him back to life. It was a close call but he's now alive and healthy. Thank goodness.

On to the main event:
Tuesday, Kelsey and I went to Salt Lake City to see the incredibly sexy John Mayer. I have been in love with John since the beginning of high school and have remained a loyal fan and Kelsey is pretty obsessed too.
Kelsey and I, excited.
In anticipation of the concert we decided we needed matching shirts, of course. Kelsey asked her art major friend, Morgan, to make us shirts. This is what Morgan came up with and painted onto our shirts. So awesome.
It was an entertaining show. A good combo of old, new, jam sessions, and talking. We did a lot of dancing, singing, and screaming. Overall, a very memorable night.
Oh John.
Sisters, happy to be there together.
Thanks to our loving Mommy we had awesome seats. Thank you so much Mom!
Yea, I'd go see him again.
We love JM.
