Elder Tuckers Home!

Elder Tucker is now home! He's been home for almost 2 weeks now so its about time i post about it on my blog. Tristan left for Utah on Sunday to go to class and I stayed in Carlsbad awaiting Brady's arrival. Monday we made posters and a banner to take to the airport and to put on the front of the house.
Mom working the Cricut.

Tuesday morning Brady called while he was in Miami. We were able to talk to him while he waited for his plane. But it would still be 7 hours till we would leave for the airport. Tuesday we all did things to keep our mind off the fact that we would see Brady later that day. Dad went to work, Mom cleaned, I crafted with Kristi, Kelsey and Makenzie went to school and Grandma and Grandpa drank some diet coke. 3:00 came and we all loaded in the car and headed down to the airport. Everyone who went to the airport: our family, Grandma and Grandpa Jensen, Uncle Mike and Tanner (cousin), Aunt Mari and Chris and Sabrina (cousins) and Diane and Mackenzie Montgomery (family friends). Earlier that day my mom signed up to receive text message updates about Brady's flights. As we were driving to the airport we received a text saying, "Flight 3031 On Time. Arrives San 3:36PM Gate 1 Bag 1."

In the car.

We get to the airport and position ourselves at the bottom the the down escalator with all our posters. We ask the lady at the information desk to make sure we were in the right spot. And we waited with held breath...

My mom's cell phone rings and its Brady. He says, "Where are you guys?" My mom, "We're here! Where are you?" We are looking everywhere thinking he's hiding somewhere spying on us. Brady says, "No really, I'm here and you guys aren't here." Ohhhhh NO! Because the flight from LA to SD is so short he was on a small plane and flew into the commuter terminal. So we run to the car with all our posters and drive to the "small plane" terminal were we find Brady sitting on a bench with all all his luggage. We jump out of the car and tackle him.

Siblings.

The family is reunited.

From the airport we drove straight to In-N-Out for the "first meal".

He diggs it.

After dinner we drove home to something waiting in the garage.

A new 2010 Mazda 3! So sexy.

Next on the agenda was to say hello to Jake.

And to see whats in the pantry like old times.

We are so proud of Brady for his willingness to serve and we are so happy to have him home.
