Last year Kelsey and I ran in the cougar homecoming 5K...
This year we ran in it again... but for free. We are training for a 1/2 marathon coming up in 3 weeks so our Saturday run consisted of a 9 mile loop that began and ended at Kelsey's south-of-campus apartment. The last 2 miles happened to run in course with the Cougar run so we went with it and enjoyed the cheers of the spectators. At mile 8 we stopped for some blue pancakes before finishing up our run. We stuck around to catch the homecoming parade...and to eat more blue pancakes.

It was a perfect Saturday morning spent with my sister.
