christmas 2011

Our Christmas was perfect. Spent with family, at home, in a beautiful place. Best part, this is our last Christmas having to travel home.

Then we put on a play. First year using Mom's nativity puppets instead of dressing up and acting. It was a blast.
Tristan was the Donkey and Joseph and I was a Shepherd and Mary with baby Jesus. Suited us perfectly.

After the Tucker's we went to the Perdue's to open sibling presents and pass around the Christmas stocking.
Christmas morning at the Perdue's.
We were able to "sleep in" and open presents at 7:30. We opened our present one at a time, savoring the morning.

Jeremy and Shawn. Love them.
We had the most delicious food for breakfast. Mike-made orange rolls. Breakfast casserole.
After a nice morning at the Perdue's we went to the Tucker's to open presents there and eat breakfast for lunch. We had my favorite, aebleskiver's. A Christmas morning specialty.

The rest of the day was spend with family, napping, eating, and playing with our new toys.
Merry Christmas from the Perdue's!
