ho, ho, ho

Our Christmas decorations finally went up yesterday. We contemplated putting them up this year due to the short time we are home in the month of December. I can't believe this is already our fifth Christmas being married. In December 2007 we purchased a pre-lit 6.5 foot tree from Walmart for $30. Totally worth it, it has been perfect for our little family. She goes up in a flash, we admire her for a couple weeks and then when we come back in January she is packed away easily. I'm glad we decided to decorate...it's just not Christmas without decorations and candles that make our house smell wonderful.

While decorating yesterday, Grandma Tucker's beans were cooking on the stove. The smell of yummy beans filled and warmed our home while it was snowing outside. Yum!

Today was our first day in nursery. We loved it, especially snack time. Because there are so many kids of nursery age in our ward there are two classes, junior and senior. We are with the senior nursery kids, which I am thankful for. Older kids = know how to go to the bathroom, know how to communicate, have less parent attachment = easier to hang out with for 2 hours. We are definitely looking forward to our time in nursery in the coming months.
